I stumbled onto the yoga mat at 20, not knowing how much it would change my life. At first, yoga was simply a way to move my body—a quiet space amidst the noise, a chance to stretch and breathe. But as I kept coming back to the mat, I started to notice something shift. Yoga wasn’t just keeping me strong; it was helping me feel alive.
It wasn’t always a linear journey. There were years when I drifted away, only to return when life felt too heavy, too chaotic. But yoga was always there—an anchor, patiently waiting. At 30, I decided to deepen my practice with my first teacher training. What began as a personal exploration turned into a calling I couldn’t ignore. In that training, I found my purpose. I realized yoga wasn’t just something I practiced; it was something I was meant to share.
Yoga has been my greatest teacher. It has taught me how to sit with discomfort, how to breathe through challenges, and how to embrace the constant flow of change. It’s a journey of discovery that has taken me to incredible places—not just physically, as I’ve practiced and taught around the world, but internally, where the real transformation happens.
The mat is where I’ve learned the art of presence, the beauty of balance, and the strength found in surrender. It’s where I’ve felt most vulnerable, most alive, and most connected to myself. And it’s this connection that I hope to pass on to others.
Yoga continues to open doors I never expected. It’s a journey I’m still on, and one I’m grateful to share with every class, every retreat, and every student who joins me along the way.
